Two furbabies urgently need assistance with the cost of their life-saving surgeries. Lisa, a sweet little pup from Kentucky, has a large growth on her stomach, while Nala, a beautiful kitty from Tennessee, suffers from a rare skin condition that necessitates the complete removal of both ears.

Nala was misdiagnosed! Nala, a beautiful 10-year-old kitty from Tennessee, has been suffering from chronic itchy ears for months. Her ears constantly bleed, from her scratching the scabs. Her mom has spent hundreds of dollars on her veterinary care. She was treated for ear mites, fleas, mange, yeast, and bacterial infections with topical treatments, antibiotics, and steroids to no avail. Desperate to ease her sweet girl’s pain, Nala’s mom sought a second opinion.

MOON DID IT AGAIN! We helped Moon, a kitty from New Jersey, in 2022 after he became extremely sick. Moon had a life-threatening intestinal blockage and needed surgery ASAP! Once in surgery, Moon's surgeon discovered that Moon had eaten rubber bracelets. Last week, we received a desperate plea from Moon's mom.

Tiger, a beautiful orange girl from Colorado, was badly injured after escaping outside. Her mom found her hiding under a bush. She was filthy and dragging her back leg. Her mom immediately took her to a 24-hour Emergency Clinic, and X-rays revealed that Tiger had hyperextended her metatarsals and tarsals (ankle joint), possibly caused by a fall.

Rambo was found wandering around an apartment complex; a kind animal lover noticed his face looked swollen and he could not close his mouth. Rambo was super friendly, and she took him home. Upon closer examination, she could see Rambo was in dire shape.

Tanner, a cute 10-month-old tabby kitten from Minnesota, started becoming picky about his food and was losing weight rapidly. Tanner was very lethargic and wasn't the spirited kitten he once was. The veterinarian's exam revealed that Tanner had a 104.6° fever, and bloodwork showed he was anorexic and had elevated protein and globulin counts.

Miko, a handsome boy from North Carolina, has several bad teeth. In 2022, Miko experienced a life-threatening urinary blockage and has since been on a prescription urinary canned food diet to prevent another blockage.

An adorable Arizona kitty and a cute little Pennsylvania pup urgently need surgery! Thor has a tumor growing in his armpit and little Munchie’s eyeball popped out of its socket!

Thor, an adorable Arizona kitty, has a tumor growing in his armpit area. Thankfully, the tumor does not appear to be attached to any bones or muscles. Thor’s veterinarian recommends removing the tumor and sending it to pathology.

We received some heartbreaking news over the weekend. Miracle, a kitty we helped in 2018, passed away from last-stage kidney disease at the tender age of 11 years old. Miracle lived up to his name; he was rescued from the streets after someone threw a corrosive substance in his face. Miracle sustained horrific life-threatening injuries.

Cricket, a handsome tabby from Pennsylvania, is experiencing a complete urinary blockage. He is currently hospitalized with a urinary catheter and is receiving IV fluids and medications to manage his condition. While Cricket’s kidneys were compromised, his levels are improving, and he is eating well. He will remain in the ICU until he is stable enough for surgery…

Speedy Jr, a 5-month-old kitten from Minnesota, has been suffering from chronic eye infections in his right eye. Speedy Jr. has been treated numerous times with anti-inflammatory and antibiotic ophthalmic drops however, nothing has relieved his symptoms.

Molly and Mariam are in dire need of help! They both suffer from painful oral disease and need surgical tooth extractions. When a pet develops oral disease, it increases bacteria within the mouth and oral tissues. This bacteria can enter the bloodstream and travel to other areas within the body, causing liver or kidney disease. Both surgeries offer these precious furbabies a longer, healthier, and pain-free future.

Momo‘s left femur bone was fractured from a slight fall jumping from the ottoman to the couch. Momo needs Femoral head osteotomy (FHO) surgery; however, his mom cannot afford it.

Last month, the Emergency Fund helped a little 4-month-old Iowa kitten named Lucy who had diarrhea and a swollen and enlarged rectum. The diarrhea was so severe that it had scorched off the fur and skin from Lucy’s tail and back legs. Today, Lucy is happy, healthy, and back to her usual kitten self, zooming around and causing all kinds of kitten mischief!
