Diesel The Dog - We met Diesel in 2016, he was very sick. Diesel had an abdominal obstruction and needed surgery ASAP. Diesel was able to get his life-saving surgery and went on to live a happy, doggy life. Diesel crossed over the rainbow bridge October 3, 2021, he family is so sad they lost their sweet boy, but are forever grateful to everyone who helped save him 5 years ago, may they find comfort in their memories together.
Mia The Cat - Our hearts are breaking. Sometimes we are too late to help. Mia Macaroni was diagnosed with WET FIP, which causes accumulation of fluid in her body cavities.. Mia was in her final stages of life and her mom asked if we can help with the arrangements, so that Mia can have a peafeul journey over the rainbow bridge. Please keep Mia and her mom in your thoughts and prayers.
Piper The Cat - Sweet Piper the cat had been battling an on-going drainage issue from a malformation that causes painful abscesses to grow under her right ear, fever and sensitivity to noise. Sadly, Piper suffered a stroke after surgery and passed away. Her mom is devastated, but at least she knows she did all she could to save Piper. Please keep Piper and her mom in your thoughts and prayers.
Leah The Dog - Leah suddenly became extremely sick, she had bruises all over her body, and a bloodshot left eye. Her condition worsened and she was rushed to the emergency veterinary office. Leahβs red blood cell count was very low, and needed a blood transfusion. It was determined that Leah had an autoimmune disorder, diabetes and pancreatitis and was suffering. The kindest thing to do was to humanely euthanize her. Please keep Leah and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Buttercup The Dog - Buttercup had a tough start to life, after finding her forever family she became very sick. Buttercup had parvo and was treated. We thought Buttercup was over the worse, until she became sick again and was diagnosed with distemper. Buttercup passed away with her loving family by her side. Please keep Buttercup's family in your thoughts and prayers.
Captain Jack The Cat - Captain Jack was a victim of the Pandemic. Jackβs mom had lost her job, and then Captain Jack fell ill. Captain Jack had a non cancerous tumor pushing on his brain, the veterinarian was confident that the tumor could be safely removed. Surgery was a success, however shortly after surgery Captain Jack developed a brain bleed and passed away quickly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family
Weezer the Cat - Weezer was rescued from the side of the road 15 years ago. Weezerβs owner says Weezer rescued her. Weezer quickly became her mom's emotional support cat. Sadly, Weezer developed a lump on the side of her neck and was diagnosed with Lymphoma which was inoperable. She was treated with steroids to shrink the tumor, but Weezer lost his battle and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Rest in Peace Weezer.
Zeus The Cat - Zeus suffered from an urinary blockage and needed PU surgery to make his urethra larger. 2 days after surgery Zeus started showing signs of distress, he was rushed to the emergency clinic and the veterinarian found urine in his stomach and he was in kidney failure. A heartbreaking decision had to be made and Zeus was humanely euthanized. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Fireball The Cat - Fireball was found in a backyard, he was the only surviving kitten from his litter. His savior gave him a chance at life. 3 years later, Fireball developed some lumps, and one lump had grown so big on his leg he had difficulty walking. Fireball was diagnosed with tissue eosinophils, a condition that most often indicates a parasitic infection, allergic reaction or cancer. Fireball began losing weight and was too sick for surgery. Sadly, Fireball passed away 3 days later. RIP Fireball.
Sterling The Cat - Sterling was experiencing teeth and eye pain stemming from a growth in his mouth. The biopsy and CT scan revealed that he had cancer and it was inoperable. Sterlingβs family decided that he would receive palliative care as long as he was eating and not showing discomfort, but it became obvious that it was time for him to cross over the rainbow bridge. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Princess The Dog - Princess had a mass on her paw, diagnostic testing confirmed it was cancer and it had metastasized. The veterinarian suggested amputating her paw to help her in the short term, however, Princessβs chances of survival were slim. Her family decided not to put her through unnecessary pain. Princess passed over the rainbow bridge with her loving family by her side. RIP beautiful Princess.
Mishu Grace The Cat - Mischu Grace was only 6 years old when she was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy - heart failure. With treatment she could live another 3 months to 5 years. Because of our generous donors, Mischu Grace received the treatments and was doing great. However 2 months later, her little heart gave out. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Sweetie The Cat - Sweetie had been sick for a while, her dad didn't have the money to take her to the vet. We were able to get her to a veterinarian for diagnostic testing, but it was too late. Sweetie suffered a massive heart attack and was lost to us. It was a shocking and terrible tragedy, our deepest condolences to Sweetieβs dad.
Pie Pie The Cat - Pie Pie was diagnosed with a severe case of Hypothyroidism about a year ago, and was being treated with medication to maintain his health. However, the medication made him lose weight, nauseous and have diarrhea. Radioiodine therapy was an alternative option to medication to destroy the overactive thyroid gland, while in the hospital Pie Pieβs condition worsened and he passed away in his mom's arms. Our heart goes out to Pie Pieβs mom.
Mittens The Cat - A stranger saw a cat on the street that was in bad shape, she took it in and tried to nurse it back to health. Despite the best efforts from an amazing, kind veterinarian, Mittens did not make it. This is a story of hope, help and love. We can't save every animal we meet, but we can try. Mittens for his brief stay on earth, felt human love, hope and kindness. RIP sweet fur baby.
Rocky The Dog - Rocky was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, it was decided that it was best not to put him through surgery and keep him comfortable and happy in his final months. Rocky took a turn for the worse and his mom decided that the kindest thing to do was let Rocky cross over the rainbow bridge. Our thoughts are with Rockyβs family during this sad and difficult time.
Malice The Cat - Malice was suffering from seizures, and needed diagnostic testing to determine a treatment plan. Malice started treatment and was doing well for a year. However, Malice began not responding to the medications and was in pain. Her family, with the guidance of their trusted veterinarian, made the right and difficult decision to say goodbye. RIP sweet Malice.
Ozzie The Cat - Ozzie crossed over the rainbow bridge at the ripe old age of 18! We met Ozzie and his mom in 2018, Ozzie had been diagnosed with a severe ongoing thyroid issue. Ozzie's treatment for monthly blood work, medications and prescription diet was far too expensive for his single mom to afford. We were happy to help. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ozzie's family.
Beauregard The Dog - Beauregard was rescued from a shelter by a loving family, at the age of 8 Beauregard was diagnosed with cancer in his mouth, he underwent radiation and chemo to shrink the tumor. However, as time went by the treatments stopped working and his quality of life was compromised. Beauregard passed away with his family by his side. His mom said that everyday since his diagnosis has been a gift, and wants to thank everyone who helped to try and save him.
Pedro The Dog - Pedro the Dog was a fighter, Pedro was receiving treatments for cancer, however his mom could no longer afford the treatments for her sweet fur baby. A kind and loving veterinary technician contacted us to see if we could help this dog and his mom. After fighting so hard for a year, Pedro sadly passed away, his health failed rapidly and a decision had to be made. Pedro is in a good place now with no pain and no cancer. Our prayers go out to his family.
Coco The Dog - Coco the service dog suffered from an ongoing heart condition called Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease - enlarged heart. Coco received medications and regular check ups with her veterinarian which helped control her condition. Unfortunately, a year later her little heart lost its battle and she crossed over the rainbow bridge with her loving mom by her side. Coco will forever be in our hearts.
