His mom rushed him to the Emergency hospital and the exam revealed he had a deadly blockage from urinary crystals that became logged in his urethra.

The Emergency Fund recently helped a young cat from Pennsylvania. Tommy had escaped outside for just a few minutes; upon his return, he was dragging his hind leg. Though there were no visible wounds, his mom said he was shaken up like something traumatic happened and he was crying out in pain when he walked.

The Emergency Fund helped Nala a 12-year-old kitty from Connecticut earlier this year. Nala wasn’t doing well; she was barely eating, losing weight, frequenting the litter box often and her eyes were crusty. Nala had not been grooming herself properly and her mom was extremely worried about her sweet girl.

Sweet little Lilly was walking along a trail when she was viciously attacked by three stray dogs. She sustained multiple puncture wounds on her neck, head, and back. Although her mom has been cleaning the wounds, they have become infected, and it is apparent that Lilly needs veterinary intervention.

Echo was recently adopted from a rescue organization. Echo appeared to be a healthy 9-month-old female kitten. She had been spayed and was up to date on her vaccinations. However; recently her mom noticed Echo licking her side and found a sticky substance on Echo’s beautiful orange coat and when she cleaned the area her fur fell out. Upon further examination, Echo’s mom found a hole in Echo’s side.

A disabled Army veteran’s service dog needs oral surgery. Otto is a very important pup, he is an ADA Certified Service Pet that helps his dad manage his Department of Veterans Affairs Service-Connected Disability. Otto has been diagnosed with Gingival hyperplasia a condition caused by excessive growth or thickening of the gum tissue.

The Emergency Fund recently helped a young cat in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prescott is just two years old and still a very playful kitten. Due to his energetic behavior and a severe case of kitten “Zoomies,” Prescott fell off a high cabinet and injured his back leg severely.

Two lovely New Jersey fur sisters, Chloe and Gracie, need our help! They have been diagnosed with Stomatitis, an immune-mediated disorder that affects the oral cavity, including the gums, tongue, and throat. This condition is characterized by chronic inflammation and ulceration of the oral tissues, leading to symptoms such as pain, drooling, difficulty eating, and weight loss.

Handsome Loki is hospitalized with a deadly urinary blockage; he currently has a urinary catheter and he is being administered Intravenous fluids to help flush the crystals out of his bladder and urethra.

This beautiful furbaby has been struggling with a chronic disease for years. Ava is only eight years old and was diagnosed with Idiopathic Megacolon, a painful condition that causes her colon to enlarge and become severely constipated.

T-Rex, a handsome tuxedo kitty from Minnesota, has been battling a stubborn bladder stone for several months. Despite medications and following a prescription diet designed to dissolve bladder stones, T-Rex stone has grown, causing him discomfort, and it puts him at a higher risk for a life-threatening urethral obstruction.

Nugget, a little pup from North Carolina, suffered a serious injury while out for a walk with her mom and furry companion. Without warning, Nugget leaped off the curb and into the path of an oncoming car. The car accidentally clipped Nugget's leg, causing her to yelp in pain. Her mom quickly pulled her back onto the sidewalk, but Nugget had sustained a significant injury to her leg.

Cloud was born in a garage; his mom was a feral kitty who disappeared shortly after giving birth. Cloud entered the world with a twisted leg and quickly developed an eye infection, leaving him weak and struggling to survive. Fortunately, a compassionate animal lover welcomed Cloud and his siblings into her home, and they all thrived.

A freakish accident has left this little kitten with a fractured hip. Full of kitten energy, Mano was zooming around the house when his dad noticed him suddenly start limping. The following day, Mano continued to avoid putting weight on his right back leg. His dad rushed him to a local low-cost animal clinic where x-rays confirmed that his hip is fractured and needs to be surgically repaired.

Jersey, a 10-year-old Vermont kitty, is in excellent health overall, except for some bad teeth that need extracting. His elderly parents, living on social security and disability benefits, cannot afford the estimated cost of the surgery, ranging from $1,100.87 to $1,544.56 depending on the number of teeth needing extraction.

Asher is an 8-year-old kitty from Iowa; he was recently diagnosed with Traumatic avulsion to the upper and lower right molars. This means that his teeth have become completely displaced from their bony socket. The two molars need to be removed as soon as possible to prevent his gums from becoming infected.

Beautiful Tawny has a lump on her mammary gland. Tawny’s veterinarian explained that this type of tumor is more commonly found in intact female cats but can still occur in spayed cats like Tawny. The lump needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible.

Beautiful TY is having vision problems, blood is coming from her eye and she is bumping into things. Her dad took her to the local vet clinic however, they were unable to diagnose her problem and have referred her to a specialist.

Perseus has an aural hematoma in his right ear, his ear has swollen to 3 times its normal size and is very painful. His mom is on permanent disability and cannot afford to take Perseus to the veterinarian for treatment.

HELP! Willie Nelson was viciously attacked and his tail was nearly ripped off his body. His mom has been diligently nursing him back to health however, it is now apparent that his tail cannot be saved.

Hazel was diagnosed with a tumor in her ear in February; we were able to pay for her surgery to remove it; however, just five months later, the tumor has grown back, and now Hazel needs Bulla Osteotomy surgery to prevent it from returning.

Olive Oil was a 2-year-old stray when she was rescued by a local animal shelter.
