Story
Zoey, a beautiful tortie from New York, has a painful tumor growing in her left ear. It constantly gets infected and bleeds. Zoey had the tumor removed a few years ago, but it grew back larger, and now it’s affecting her eye.
The only permanent course of treatment to ensure the tumor never grows back is ear ablation surgery; a surgical procedure that removes the entire ear canal.
The only permanent course of treatment to ensure the tumor never grows back is ear ablation surgery; a surgical procedure that removes the entire ear canal. Due to the complexity, the surgery needs to be performed by a Board certified specialty surgeon and has been estimated between $2,810.00 - 3,455.00.
However, Zoey’s dad has a serious heart condition and is permanently disabled; living on a government disability check he cannot afford Zoey’s surgery and did not qualify for care credit.
Zoey was a young unaltered stray kitty when her furever dad rescued her and gave her a safe and loving home 8 years ago. Zoey is her dad’s only fur-child and they have weathered tough times together. This beautiful tortie has been suffering for far too long; she deserves to live pain-free.
