Lucy The Kitten
Last month, the Emergency Fund helped a little 4-month-old Iowa kitten named Lucy who had diarrhea and a swollen and enlarged rectum. The diarrhea was so severe that it had scorched off the fur and skin from Lucyβs tail and back legs. Today, Lucy is happy, healthy, and back to her usual kitten self, zooming around and causing all kinds of kitten mischief!
Tommy Girl The Cat
A U.S. Army veteranβs cat has suffered severe injuries. Tommy Girl, a beloved furbaby from Kentucky, snuck outside, and when she returned home, she was limping. Tommy Girl needs Triple pelvic osteotomy (TPO) surgery, which has been estimated to cost $2,800.00. Tommy Girlβs elderly dad lives on a meager disability benefit he can not afford his beloved girlβs surgeryβ¦

Bud is having Emergency surgery today! Last night, we received an application from an elderly lady in Iowa whose orange furbaby, Bud snuck outside and was viciously attacked 3 days ago!
Rubble The Dog
This adorable Texas pup, Rubble, has been diagnosed with a prolapsed urethra, a condition where the tail end of the urethra protrudes through the external opening, causing painful and frequent urination, blood in his urine, incontinence, and diarrhea. Rubble needs surgery to correct the position of his urethra Without surgery, Rubbleβs condition couldprogress to strangulation and eventual necrosis of the protruding tissuesβ¦
Otis The Cat
Otis, a handsome tuxedo kitten from Iowa, has a deciduous (baby) tooth growing into his soft palette, causing him significant pain. Due to the tooth's location, his veterinarian referred Otis to a Speciality Veterinary Hospital because of the high risk of breaking Otisβs tiny jaw! However, Otisβs mom has exhausted her care credit account and cannot afford his surgery costβ¦
Alvin The Cat
Alvin, a pretty tabby from Iowa, was diagnosed with Glaucoma, a painful eye condition that causes a buildup of fluid in the eyeball that puts pressure on the optic nerve. Alvin has been treated for several months with eye drops and steroids; however, it has not significantly reduced the pressure. Alvin needs Enucleation surgery to remove the eye before it ruptures!
Mama Kitty The Cat
The Emergency Fund recently helped this sweet tabby, Mama Kitty, from Florida. Mama Kitty was experiencing severe constipation. Mama Kitty was diagnosed with Megacolon and was prescribed a prescription diet to manage her condition. However, her mom fell into financial hardship due to enduring back-to-back hurricanesβ¦
Miko The Minnesota Kitty
Miko, a sweet Minnesota kitty has been hospitalized 4 times in the last year with life-threatening urinary blockages despite a prescription urinary diet and anti-anxiety medication. The only permanent solution to SAVE Miko is Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery; a surgical procedure that reconstructs the urethra to allow urine to pass through more easily. However, his mom has exhausted all of her funds and can not afford itβ¦

The Emergency Fund recently helped this sweet 10-week old Ohio kitten who was extremely sick. Kitten (now named Oaklea) had explosive diarrhea, she was crying out in pain and her condition deteriorated rapidly overnight. She was barely moving and had not eaten or drunk anything in 48 hoursβ¦
Nala The Cat
Nala, a beautiful floof ball from Iowa, has a cancerous tumor growing in her front right paw pad that is causing her to not bear any weight on her foot and smells awful! Nala needs surgery to remove her entire leg to ensure she lives cancer-free!
Ziggy The Dog
Ziggy, a cute little pup from upstate New York, was βzoomingβ around with his fur brother Ollie when he jumped off the couch and landed awkwardly. His mom heard him yelp and found Ziggy was not putting weight on his back left leg. Ziggyβs elderly parents rushed him to the local veterinary clinic, and x-rays revealed that Ziggy had a partial tear in his cranial cruciate ligament (Knee)β¦

Melee, a beautiful Calico kitty from Texas, has been struggling with painful bladder stones that have irritated her urinary tract, causing chronic urinary tract infections and bleeding. If left untreated, the stones can block the flow of urine, leading to irreversible kidney damage and death.
Comet The Cat
Comet, a cherished tabby from New Jersey, has been struggling with a painful condition. She was first diagnosed with a bacterial infection after her mom noticed blood in her urine. Despite treatment with antibiotics and medications for Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, her symptoms persist.
Peanutz The Cat
Tiny Peanutz is fighting for his life! Peanutz was diagnosed with dry Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a disease that, in its early stages, causes lethargy, decreased appetite, weight loss, and fever. As the disease progresses, it causes inflammatory cells to accumulate in various organs and can be fatal. However, there is a treatment, and FIP is curable!
Princess The Cat
Princess has been diagnosed with Ceruminous Cystomatosis, a non-cancerous skin disease affecting her ears, causing lesions that obstruct Princess's ear canal, leading to chronic ear infections. The only treatment is carbon dioxide laser ablation therapy, estimated to cost between $1,800.00 and $2,000.00. Princessβs mom can't afford the procedure due to financial constraints. Your help would greatly improve Princess's quality of life and bring joy back to her family.
