Smokey had surgery on Wednesday to correct a painful condition called Entropian; that caused his eyelids to turn inwards; his eyelashes and hair rubbed his cornea and without surgery, Smokey would have gone blind.

Gilmour is doing fantastic! Gilmour was diagnosed with Giardia; a single-celled organism classified as a protozoan; that lives in the intestines of cats (and other animals, including dogs and humans) and causes severe gastrointestinal disease.

It has been 6 weeks since Max's surgery, and he is doing amazing! His surgeon is happy with his progress and Max will need follow-up x-rays in 2 weeks. We will have more updates on Max soon!
Sweet Socks is doing well post-op!β€οΈ
Socks was spayed on Thursday; the surgery went great, and she was discharged later that day. Sock's dad said she ate well and had a good night's sleep. Socks has to wear her cone until the sutures are removed in 10 days. We will have more updates on Socks soon!
Ichi, the Iowa kitty, is doing better!
We helped with Ichiβs veterinary exam and diagnostic testing. Ichi's bloodwork came back within normal limits; he was given an injection for nausea and pain, an appetite stimulant and fluids for dehydration. Ichi was diagnosed with Osteochondrodysplasia; a developmental abnormality that affects cartilage throughout the body especially in Scottish Fold kitties.
Gordon has full recovered from his life-saving surgery! πΆ
Gordon had a check-up and suture removal on Friday and has been given a clean bill of health!

She had a final check-up and the suture removal this week; her surgeon was extremely happy with her progress and gave her a clean bill of health. Mochi will wear her cone for a few more days until the suture site has healed completely.

Beautiful Socks is being spayed today. π
We helped Socks a few weeks ago with diagnostic testing she was diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC); painful inflammation of the urinary bladder, sometimes caused by stress. She was treated and made a full recovery.
However, the exam revealed that Socks had a uterus, meaning she had not been spayed. Her dad was quite shocked, as he was told by Sockβs previous owner she had beenβ¦
LUNA IS PUTTING HER BEST PAW FORWARD!π
