Ichi, the Iowa kitty, is doing better!

We helped with Ichi’s veterinary exam and diagnostic testing. Ichi's bloodwork came back within normal limits; he was given an injection for nausea and pain, an appetite stimulant and fluids for dehydration. Ichi was diagnosed with Osteochondrodysplasia; a developmental abnormality that affects cartilage throughout the body especially in Scottish Fold kitties. Sadly; this condition causes lameness and pain, which attributed to Ichi not eating.

Ichi's veterinarian started him on joint supplements and his mom said he is eating and seems to be more comfortable. We will have more updates on Ichi soon!
