Fortune had surgery and is doing well! 💙

Fortune, the rescued California kitty, had surgery to remove all his teeth to relieve his pain from Stomatitis. This condition affected Fortune's ability to eat and drink properly; he constantly drooled from the inflammation in his gums and had painful mouth ulcers. He was unable to groom himself properly. This poor boy was in bad shape! 😿

Fortune is home and doing well. His mouth is a little swollen and tender, but he is lapping up his kitty cat soup. The sutures in his mouth are dissolvable, and he will have a check-up next week with his veterinarian.

Thank you to everyone who helped this sweet boy; because of YOU, Fortune will no longer be in pain and can live a long and happy life that he deserves.😻
