Rocketβs veterinarian has placed a splint on his front leg to stabilize it. He also has a deep infection in his back leg and is not bearing weight on either leg. The veterinary surgeon does not recommend surgery to repair his front leg until the infection in his back leg is controlled. π

Max had a check-up and bandage change last week. Unfortunately, the splint to hold his bones in place rubbed his tiny little leg raw.

Cream had double hip surgery, and last week, he had a post-op check-up and suture removal. The surgery site has healed perfectly, and Cream received a clean health bill from his surgeon.

Jax had his 2nd round of steroid treatments to shrink a mass in his chest muscle wall. The tumor has shrunk significantly since his first treatment a month ago and his veterinarian is extremely happy with his progress.

Handsome Liam had dental surgery, and 9 teeth were extracted. This poor furbaby had a rough few days post-op, but he is improving. The pre-surgical bloodwork revealed that Liam has early kidney disease; however, he will live a long life with a healthy mouth and a new prescription diet.

Beautiful Charlie had dental surgery last week to remove a broken abscessed tooth and a thorough dental cleaning. The surgery went great, and she is recovering well. Charlie's face is no longer swollen, and she is eating well again. Since the tooth removal, Charlie has developed a cute little lip curl.

Tiny Max had surgery on Thursday to repair a transverse fracture in his right front leg. The surgery went well; the surgeon attached a plate and 6 pins to hold his broken bone in place, and he was discharged late Friday afternoon.

Luna has made a full recovery from her amputation surgery. This brave pup had surgery a few weeks ago and had a final check-up with her surgeon. Luna has been given the all-clear and can resume normal activity.
Fluffball Max had surgery and is doing well post-op π»
Max had surgery to repair a painful hematoma. The surgery went great, and Max was discharged the same day. Max will have a recheck and suture removal in 7-10 days.

We are so happy to share that Jordie, the Illinois kitty, had a post-op checkup and suture removal. Jordie has been given a clean bill of health from his veterinarian! π₯°
SWEET CREAM HAD HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY, BUT THERE WAS A MINOR COMPLICATION. π
During the pre-examination X-rays, Cream's surgeon discovered that his left hip joint also showed necrosis. Cream's mom frantically called us and asked if we could cover the additional cost of doing both joints simultaneously. Of course, we said YES!
BEAUTIFUL LUNA IS ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY! β€οΈ
Luna had a post-op check-up and suture removal; her veterinarian is very happy with her recovery. Her incision area was a little red and irritated, so she was prescribed an antibiotic spray, and she will need to wear a t-shirt for a few more days.

Jordie had Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery to widen his urethra to prevent another urinary blockage and is home and doing well!
Jordie's surgery cost $2,812.76, more than the original estimate and the amount we raised from donations. However, we had some funds in the Emergency Fund to cover the rest of the bill.

Adorable Luna, the 9-month-old Arizona puppy, had surgery to amputate her front left leg. The surgery went well, and Luna was discharged the next day. Luna will have a check-up in 3 days to remove the bandage.
