ROCKET HAD AMPUTATION SURGERY AND IS DOING WELL! π
Rocket is a medical miracle; this kitty has been through a lot, but he is a fighter and has defined all odds stacked against him.
Rocket had surgery on Friday to amputate his front left leg, which developed necrosis. The veterinary staff at the hospital said he was the best patient, purring all the time. Rocket has a 2-week recovery time and then will have surgery to repair the ligaments in his back leg. Due to only having 3 legs now, we purchased a kitty wheelchair to help him while he recovers.
Rocket's medical bills so far have exceeded $7,000.00 and is one of the most expensive cases FTLOA has had in many years. We will need more help with his upcoming surgery cost for his back leg.
If you have already donated to Rocket, we truly cannot thank you enough, but if you have a little more to spare, it will really help. If you haven't helped Rocket, would you kindly consider donating?
