Wawa had surgery; she is home and doing well!😻

Little Wawa had surgery to remove a toe that was accidentally cut half off during a routine medical procedure. The surgery went well, and the incision area was glued together and bandaged.

Wawa became extremely stressed post-op at the veterinary hospital; her veterinarian recommended that her mom pick her up that evening to recover at home, and she did much better, getting cuddles from her mom. Wawa’s mom said, “Since she's been home, she has been very clingy; we are taking turns holding her."

Wawa was sent home with oral antibiotics and pain medications. Wawa will need to take it easy for a few days and have a recheck appointment in 5-7 days.
