Ahi The Cat
Ahi, an 8-year-old cat, has been diagnosed with diabetes and severe periodontal disease. His blood glucose levels are very high, and his mom, living on disability benefits, cannot afford the necessary medical care. The estimated costs for treatment, including insulin, glucose monitoring, and dental cleaning, are beyond her financial means. Ahi's health is deteriorating, and without help, he may face a slow and painful death.
Hudson The Dog
Hudson, an adorable New Jersey puggle has at least 12 painful bladder stones that are causing him to urinate blood, have accidents in the home, and his abdomen is swollen and tender to the touch. Hudson needs surgery to remove the stones ASAP! However, his elderly parents can not afford it...
Mance The Dog
The Emergency Fund recently helped a handsome pup from New Hampshire. Mance was diagnosed with Lyme and Anaplasmosis disease; tick-borne diseases that can affect dogs and have similar symptoms. Both diseases can cause lethargy, pain, and fever...
Aiko The Cat
Aiko, the beautiful snowshoe kitty from Texas has a tumor on her back right paw pad. This tumor, which has been rapidly growing since April, has caused Aiko significant pain, making it difficult for her to bear weight on her affected foot. The distressing symptoms, including bleeding when using the litter box, point to the seriousness of the situation.
Einstein The Cat
This adorable orange kitty, Einstein, hails from California. Despite his charming appearance, poor Einstein is currently suffering from severe periodontal disease, which is causing him pain due to abscesses and rotten teeth. At just 8 years old; this surgery holds the promise of not only relieving his pain but also extending his life significantly.
Squeaker The Cat
The Emergency Fund helped Squeaker recently with his urgent veterinary care. Squeaker, a handsome kitty from Minnesota was in pain; he was panting and pacing for 6 hours; he was very sick. Squeaker was going in and out of the litter box often but producing little urine. His elderly mom suspected a urinary tract infection and rushed him to a low-cost veterinary clinic...
Cheddar The Cat
We were contacted overnight about a precious Illinois kitty who was exhibiting signs of a urinary tract blockage. Due to the urgency of Cheddar's condition, we used funds from the Emergency Fund to get him the life-saving medical care he needed. The Emergency Fund is critical to our mission; the Emergency Fund steps in when we do not have time to fundraise for a pet that needs emergency life-saving veterinary care now!
Frankie The Cat
Frankie, a beloved Minnesota furbaby was viciously attacked by a neighboring dog that had strayed and was seriously injured. Frankie enjoys going out for leashed walks with his mom in the back yard feeling the grass beneath his toes and watching the birds and butterflies, a sudden and unexpected turn of events has left him seriously injured.
Gomez The Cat
Cutie Pie Gomez has been diagnosed with a painful eye condition called Entropian that caused his eyelids to grow inward, leading to a cornea ulcer in his left eye. While he is currently receiving ophthalmic medications to manage the pain and pressure, the only long-term solution lies in corrective surgery. Without surgery, Gomez's eyesight hangs in the balance, and the prospect of losing his vision looms ominously.
Toasty The Dog
Toasty a very handsome pup from Pennsylvania has a tumor growing on the back of his right wrist. This tumor is causing him to limp and it is painful to the touch. His mom took him to the Humane Society clinic, where they recommended surgically removing the tumor.
Toto The Dog
This adorable little pup Toto from Massachusetts has a cancerous tumor growing at the base of his tail; due to the location his veterinarian recommends amputating the entire tail; this will ensure that the cancer can not spread. Toto has 3 smaller growths that need removing from his back, side, and head.
Taco The Cat
Taco, a spicy senior kitty from West Virginia has been suffering from painful oral disease for almost a year. She was misdiagnosed, and after her mom sought a second opinion, Taco was diagnosed with Stomatitis and needs multiple dental extractions.
Whisky The Cat
Whisky, an adorable furbaby from Arizona has a tumor growing in his front right paw pad, which is causing him pain and hindering his ability to walk properly. Unfortunately, due to the tumorβs location, Whiskyβs veterinary surgeon recommends amputating one of his toes to excise the tumor completely.
Snickers The Cat
Snickers, a beautiful and dainty princess kitty from Michigan, is currently facing health issues that are causing concern among her elderly parents. Known for her playful and entertaining nature, Snickers has captured the hearts of her family with her acrobatic performances and charismatic personality.
Snowbaby The Cat
Snowbaby, a handsome kitty from Virginia, desperately needs a life-saving treatment! He was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which is usually easily maintained with daily medication. However, in rare cases, some cats like Snowbaby experience adverse side effects, including vomiting, anorexia, fever, anemia, and lethargy.
Gizmo The Cat
The Emergency Fund helped a young Ohio kitty with a life-saving surgery in April. Gizmo was experiencing pain, he was violently vomiting and wasnβt urinating. His mom rushed him to the Emergency hospital and the exam revealed he had a deadly blockage from urinary crystals that became logged in his urethra.
Tommy The Cat
The Emergency Fund recently helped a young cat from Pennsylvania. Tommy had escaped outside for just a few minutes; upon his return, he was dragging his hind leg. Though there were no visible wounds, his mom said he was shaken up like something traumatic happened and he was crying out in pain when he walked.
Nala The Cat
The Emergency Fund helped Nala a 12-year-old kitty from Connecticut earlier this year. Nala wasnβt doing well; she was barely eating, losing weight, frequenting the litter box often and her eyes were crusty. Nala had not been grooming herself properly and her mom was extremely worried about her sweet girl.
