Taco, a spicy senior kitty from West Virginia has been suffering from painful oral disease for almost a year. She was misdiagnosed, and after her mom sought a second opinion, Taco was diagnosed with Stomatitis and needs multiple dental extractions.
Taco is being treated every two weeks with steroids and oral antibiotic medications to relieve her pain and prevent infection until her mom can secure funding for her surgery. Her mom maxed out her care credit from Tacoβs previous medical bills. She cannot afford the surgery's estimated cost of $800.00. Luckily, her mom found us and we offered to help.
Apart from her oral disease, at 12 years old, Taco is very healthy otherwise. Taco and her furry companions were rescued off the streets as kittens; their mom has done everything she can to provide a safe and happy home with lots of love and snuggles.
This surgery represents a lifeline for Taco, promising relief from pain and a chance at an improved quality of life in her golden years.
