This big, beautiful girl is sick. Luna has lost almost 30lbs in just a few months and she started eating pea gravel. She is not eating and is very lethargic. Her veterinarian suspects she has a blockage and possible autoimmune disease.

Story
This big, beautiful, bundle of fur is sick. Luna has lost almost 30lbs in just a few months and she started eating weird objects like pea gravel, wood, and fluff. She is not eating properly and is very lethargic. Her veterinarian suspects she has a blockage and possible autoimmune disease where her body is not absorbing protein properly, causing her to eat strange objects. The surgery is very invasive and she will need a biopsy of her intestines and lymph nodes to determine if she has a rare digestive disorder. Lunaβs forever family has already spent hundreds of dollars on her medical care up to now and cannot afford the expensive surgery to save her life.
Lunaβs dad served in the US Army, he did a lengthy tour in Afghanistan. Luna is a big part of this family; she has 4 small children at home that love her dearly. Luna is also a service pet to one chil that has autism. Luna is always by her side to lend a paw.
Lunaβs dad said, βWe have recently adopted our niece who came to us with trauma, and Luna and she are the best of friends. She helps all of our children with their emotions and having her around makes our family complete, we canβt lose her!β
Luna is currently on a special diet to help her pass the rocks, she was also prescribed antibiotics and pain medication to keep her comfortable until we can raise enough funds for her surgery.
