Max is doing great post-op! 🐶

Tiny Max had surgery on Thursday to repair a transverse fracture in his right front leg. The surgery went well; the surgeon attached a plate and 6 pins to hold his broken bone in place, and he was discharged late Friday afternoon. I was lucky enough to tag along with Max's mom to pick him up. Max will have a very strict recovery; his bones are so tiny and fragile that the surgeon said he must be crated and have no activity for 8 weeks. We will have more updates soon.

Max's surgery cost $5,429.87. We had not raised the total of Max's surgery cost as of Friday, but at the last minute, we were fortunate to have a donor who paid off the remaining balance on his bill! 💕
