Precious peacefully crossed over the rainbow bridge on August 21, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Precious health was declining, she wasnβt eating and had become extremely lethargic. Precious lost her courageous battle with Axial Osteosarcoma cancer.

We recently received devastating news about GG a kitty we help in 2021. GG passed away suddenly at home from a heart attack. He was just 9 years old.
INCREDIBLE NEWS FOR MOO-MOO! πΈ
Moo-Moo was referred to a specialist to remove the mass in his stomach. The specialist surgeon examined Moo-Moo and could not feel the mass; he asked that we approve an ultrasound to determine the exact size and location. Remarkably, the ultrasound showed no evidence of the tumor.

Jax received his first treatment to shrink a mass in his chest cavity. Due to the location of the mass in the muscle wall, it is inoperable; however, in recent studies, a new treatment has shown an 80% success rate.
BONFIRE WILL LIVE A LIFE PAIN-FREE! β€οΈ
We fundraised for Bonfire last week, and she had her dental surgery. Six teeth were extracted; she was given an antibiotic injection that lasts 10 days and pain medication. Bonfire did so well post-op that her veterinarian discharged her the same day.
MAGGIE AND SALLY ARE DOING WELL POST-OP! π
The fur-sisters have been patiently waiting for their dental surgeries. Everything went well, and they are both recovering at home. Maggie had 7 teeth extracted, and Sally had 1 tooth extracted. Both girls received antibiotics and pain medication
Cosmo is 100%! π
COSMO IS DOING WELL POST-OP! Cosmo was neutered on Wednesday. His veterinarian was concerned about Cosmo's previous encounter with another cat or wild animal, so she tested him for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia viruses (FELV).
UPDATE ON JAX!
Jax was referred to a Specialist Veterinary Hospital for a CT scan to see the exact location of the tumor in his chest and to see if it had metastasized. Jax had the CT scan yesterday and the good news is the tumor is a fatty lipoma and has not spread to any major organs.
Jaxβs surgery has been temporarily postponed πΏ
Jaxβs surgery was scheduled for July 26th; however, once his veterinarian opened Jax up, she discovered the tumor had grown significantly more prominent in just a few weeks. Jaxβs surgeon was concerned that the tumor had metastasized into the muscle wall and would need a Specialist surgeon to remove it.
RONALD HAS MADE AN INCREDIBLE RECOVERY! π»
Recently, Ronald was given a clean bill of health from his veterinarian. His mom said, "He can get around just fine and jump up and down on the couchβ¦
SWEET SOPHIE HAS MADE A FULL RECOVERY!
Sophie had a surgical procedure done for a painful ear hematoma. Sophie's ear will look different, but she is no longer in pain, and the hematoma will never grow back.
COSMOβS WOUNDS HAVE HEALED π
Cosmo is doing great. He finished his pain medication and antibiotics and no longer has to wear his cone.
Cosmo is an unaltered male; hence his desire to escape outside and get into troubleβ¦
SWEET SOPHIE HAD A MINOR SETBACK! πΏ
Sophie's ear appeared to be healing well. Unfortunately, once the sutures were removed, her veterinarian discovered a small pocket of fluid at the top of her ear. Sophie's veterinarian put a few more stitches at the tip of her ear and will not remove them for two weeks.
Ronald is doing fantastic!
Ronald is doing fantastic! After falling from a deck, Ronald had surgery to amputate his shattered back leg. The surgery went well, and Ronald went home the same day.
Ronald is learning to navigate life with just three legs, but his mom said he can jump on and off the couch unassisted. π
Sophie had surgery and is home and doing well. π
Sophie had surgery to repair a painful ear hematoma and is home and doing well. Sophie's ear is very swollen, but her veterinarian said it is normal, the swelling will go down after a few days, and she should start feeling much better.
Max had a Veterinary Emergency! π₯
We helped Max in February with surgery to repair his broken jaw. Max had surgery and fully recovered. However, we received a frantic call from Max's mom over the weekend. She had noticed that Max was constantly going in and out of the litter box but was not urinating. She was worried he had a urinary blockage and did not know what to do.
SYRAH, THE NEVADA KITTY WOUNDS ARE HEALING SO WELL! π»
Syrah's veterinarian is thrilled with how she is responding to treatment. Syrah will need another check-up in two weeks. This sweet kitty is so LUCKY to be alive after she was viciously attacked. We will have more updates on Syrah soon!

Little Guy is doing well; his sutures were removed, and the incision site looks good. LG will wear his cute onesie for a few more days to ensure the area has healed completely.
