Story
Beautiful Tawny has a lump on her mammary gland. Tawny’s veterinarian explained that this type of tumor is commonly found in intact female cats but can still occur in spayed cats like Tawny. The lump needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible.
The procedure will involve a careful incision to extract the tumor and surrounding tissue. Her veterinarian will then send the specimen off for a biopsy to determine the nature of the tumor. This biopsy will provide valuable information about whether the tumor is benign or potentially cancerous.
Tawny's elderly mom is understandably worried about the outcome of the biopsy. Tawny’s mom is disabled; she adopted Tawny from a rescue a year ago, and she cherishes the companionship they share. Whatever the results, we will do everything we can to provide the best veterinary care for Tawny and support her and her mom throughout her recovery journey.
Surgery has been estimated at around $500.00. Tawny’s mom is low-income; she cannot afford the cost of her surgery; she was denied care credit and receives a measly $943.00 a month in social security benefits.
Can you help this beautiful blue-eyed girl get the surgery she desperately needs?
