Socks, the beautiful Oregon kitty, is not feeling well; she’s lethargic, and her dad recently noticed she wasn’t using the litter box as often as she should. And when Socks does urinate, it smells terrible and is brown in color. Socks needs a veterinary exam to see if she has a urinary tract infection.
Sock's dad called various veterinary clinics, and the cheapest he was quoted was $250.00 for a new patient exam and urinalysis, which did not include additional treatment or medications. Though this is not a lot of money for some, Socks and her dad have had a rough time lately; they have experienced homelessness but have finally found a place to call home, and her dad has gained employment; however, he cannot afford a veterinary expense right now.
Socks is well cared for; her welfare has always been her dad’s number one priority. Socks and her dad just need a little help to get back on their paws. Please, can you help Socks get better?
