Story
This adorable Texas pup, Rubble, has been diagnosed with a prolapsed urethra, a condition where the tail end of the urethra protrudes through the external opening, causing painful and frequent urination, blood in his urine, incontinence, and diarrhea. This condition is common in English bulldogs and Boston terriers.
Rubble needs Urethropexy surgery, a surgical procedure that corrects the position of the urethra and supports the pelvic floor muscles. Without surgery, Rubbleโs condition could progress to strangulation and eventual necrosis of the protruding tissues. Surgery has been estimated between $1,500-1,800.00, including castration to prevent recurrence. However, Rubbleโs mom cannot afford it.
Rubble found his furever family after his pet parent unexpectedly passed away. Rubble has become a valued family member. His mom said, โAfter a lot of unforeseen family tragedies, we are unable to pay or come up with the payment. He is a super-loving and energetic dog who took the hearts of my children. This unexpected diagnosis has us all heartbroken.โ
Rubble has been suffering for far too long; this surgery will relieve his pain and change Rubbleโs quality of life furever! Can you help this adorable pup get the surgery he needs to live a long, pain-free life?
