Story

Precious, the Colorado kitty, has had a hard start to life; she was found lying on the side of the road with a broken pelvis. A loving, forever family rescued Precious, and she fully recovered from her injury. However, this tiny baby has a congenital disability where she is missing a part of the roof of her mouth, causing her chronic nasal and eye infections. 

Precious needs surgery to fix her palate. Her mom cannot afford it; she has already spent hundreds of dollars on veterinary appointments to treat Precious’s infections. As Precious has grown, her condition has become increasingly worse, and every month, Precious becomes very sick. Precious has been treated with multiple antibiotics and antiviral medications; the drugs help temporarily. However, surgery is the only option to fix her condition.

Precious is 18 months old, but she only weighs 3.4 Lbs. The infections are robbing her quality of life. Precious is super sweet, and when she is not plagued by infections, she is a spunky little kitty and the light of her mom’s life. Seeing this precious little one suffer when surgery would change her life is heartbreaking!   

Please help Precious; she deserves to live a pain and infection-free life.
