Maya, the six-month-old Minnesota kitten, was playing around on the top of the staircase when suddenly she slipped and fell two stories, shattering her hip. This sweet baby is in pain and needs Femoral Osteotomy surgery ASAP!
Maya was adopted from a local rescue group and has a wonderful fur-ever family. Mayaβs family is low-income, and though they can pay for all of Mayaβs necessary preventative care, they never expected Maya to become severely injured suddenly. Surgery is costly; the estimated cost is $1,933.09 - 2,272.52. The surgery cost is far beyond their means; they love their little girl and canβt bear to see her in pain.
Mayaβs veterinarian sent home pain medication, and Maya is confined to a crate so as not to cause any more damage to her broken hip. However, she needs surgery to restore pain-free mobility and live a normal kitty cat life.
Please, help this sweet little furbaby get to surgery ASAP!
