Story

Handsome Loki is hospitalized with a deadly urinary blockage; he currently has a urinary catheter and he is being administered Intravenous fluids to help flush the crystals out of his bladder and urethra. 😿

Loki will need to be hospitalized for 3 days or until he starts urinating normally with clear fluid and then the catheter can be removed. However, there is no guarantee that he will not become blocked again once the catheter has been removed.

Loki’s urethra is too narrow; the only permanent solution his veterinarian recommends is Perineal Urethrostomy surgery to widen his urethra to prevent another blockage. However; this is Loki’s second blockage in less than 2 weeks! Loki’s veterinary care so far has cost his mom $2,862.09. She borrowed half the cost with care credit and family and friends helped out with the rest.

Due to the circumstances, the veterinary clinic has offered to do the surgery for a discounted price of $2709.00! According to PetMD, the average cost is between $3000-4500.00. However; Loki’s mom, already burdened with his previous treatment cost, cannot afford this. πŸ’”

Loki is only 3 years old; this surgery will save his life! Please, can you help this handsome boy today?
