We recently received a message from Tiny Tim's mom, whom we had helped in 2019. Tiny Tim was a very sick kitten with a life-threatening urinary blockage that had torn his urethra. His mom had spent all her savings and borrowed money for his emergency surgery and hospitalization. However, she still needed $2,000.00 to take him home…

Apache Princess was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. Her mom recently sent an update, and Apache Princess is still going strong! She said, "Because of "For the Love of Alex" my girl Apache Princess will celebrate her 16th birthday on October 7th.

This gathering provides a platform for organizations worldwide to unite and advocate for the critical causes of animal and environmental welfare.

We have two older kitties that desperately need dental surgery. Liam is a handsome 10-year-old kitty from Minnesota, and beautiful Charlie is a 12-year-old kitty from Utah. 😻

We are often asked about the variant cost of veterinary care for the pets we help. Depending on where the pet owner lives and where the veterinary clinic or hospital is located plays a huge factor in the price we pay for their services. Veterinary care in larger cities is much higher than in rural areas.

The Emergency Fund is vital to our mission. We do not have the time or resources to fundraise for every pet we help. Some pets need help now and cannot wait a few days for us to fundraise for them. The Emergency Fund supports these pets. 

Last week we helped three kitties with their urgent care; Cosmo, Precious, and Bella. These kitties would have suffered if we had not had the resources to help them.

For The Love Of Alex has been invited to attend PAWLOOZA 2023, held by Scoots for Snoots, a motorcycle enthusiast and animal lovers club that combines two passions into one. Each year Scoots for Snoots holds two significant events to benefit smaller animal charities and raise animal welfare awareness.

We have some beautiful handmade items generously donated by some of our wonderful donors and one of our pet beneficiaries. (Zoey, the Cat's mom) 💕

The Tender Loving Care Fund will provide continued funding for pets we have previously helped with their urgent veterinary care. The Tender Loving Care Fund will support non-urgent medical care such as follow-up appointments, including bloodwork, x-rays, and urinalysis for pets that require a veterinary prescription diet or medications to control their ongoing medical conditions.
