GIMPY’S LIFE WAS SAVED BECAUSE OF KIND ANIMAL LOVERS WHO DONATED 💕

Gimpy’s Story:

Gimpy, the Illinois kitty, is just one of the pets that received financial assistance this year with her urgent veterinary care. Gimpy was rescued from a bad environment after a dog viciously attacked her. Her rescuer took her to a veterinary clinic, and x-rays showed her leg was severely broken and she needed surgery.

Her rescuer and now forever mom did not have the money. The surgery was estimated to cost over $2,000.00, plus $233.25 for her follow-up x-rays. Gimpy’s mom bandaged her leg and took care of it every day. Unfortunately, Gimpy's leg did not heal, and she stopped using it. Gimpy's veterinarian recommended amputation. Luckily, Gimpy's mom found our organization, and we helped with the cost of Gimpy's surgery. The surgery went well, and Gimpy made a full recovery!

Gimpy's mom said, "Gimpy was running laps in our living room the other day, we bought her a laser pointer, and she went crazy!" Thank you for giving her a second chance at a normal life.
