This week is "National Feed A Rescue Pet Week!”

We currently help five kitties with expensive prescription food to manage their conditions or prevent medical reoccurrences.

In 2022, we paid $4,874.24 to Chewy, our prescription food provider. Each kitty’s food is delivered directly to its owner monthly. Kilo, Miko, Yubari, & Max could relapse with urinary blockages without their Hills Prescription c/d food, and Khaleesi needs Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets DM Diabetic Management food to manage her diabetes.

We will continue to help these cats and their owners because though they received the urgent medical care they needed, these families are still low-income, and facing an expensive monthly cat food bill is beyond feasible.
