INCREDIBLE NEWS FOR MOO-MOO! πΈ
Moo-Moo had a mass in his stomach that ruptured and became infected. X-rays were taken, and Moo-Moo was treated with antibiotics and steroids. Moo-Moo had a 2-week recheck, and the infection on the outside had healed, but his veterinarian referred him to a specialist to remove the mass.
However, on the day of surgery, the Specialist surgeon examined Moo-Moo and could not feel the mass; he asked that we approve an ultrasound to determine the exact size and location. Remarkably, the ultrasound showed no evidence of the tumor. The Radiologist determined that Moo-Moo had an internal cyst, which dissipated with medications. Moo-Moo's small intestine is slightly larger than average, but the Radiologist was not concerned unless Moo-Moo starts to have digestive issues.
We are thrilled that this handsome boy has been given a clean bill of health! Thank you to everyone who helped with Moo-Moo's urgent veterinary care. If you want to become a hero to a needy pet, please donate today.
