Lil Sis, had x-rays taken last Friday to understand better the size and exact location of her abdominal hernia. Unfortunately, x-rays showed that the hernia has pushed some of Sis' intestines into her chest cavity. 😿

Baylor had a post-op check-up and suture removal this week and has been given a clean bill of health by his veterinarian.

We fundraised for Baylor's surgical cost and fell a few hundred dollars short of covering the total cost. However, one of our incredible donors offered to cover the rest. Baylor had surgery, and everything went well.

Eris had a final check-up recently, and her veterinarian has given her the all-clear. Eris's recovery was long; she was on limited activity for six weeks to allow her broken leg to heal fully.

Maya is doing great post-op and was given the all-clear by her veterinarian. Maya had a check-up yesterday, and the staples were removed. Maya will wear her cone for two or three more days to allow the incision area to heal completely, and she can slowly resume physical activity.

Willow had a recheck and urinalysis last week; thankfully, there was no grit or calcium in her urine, and she no longer has blood in her stool. However, the urinalysis showed glucose in her urine which her veterinarian says could be related to stress.
