Story
Beautiful Sen was found in a parking lot; she had been hit by a car! Sen was rescued and found a loving forever home. Sen has suddenly become very sick; diagnostic X-rays revealed she has a diaphragmatic hernia that is causing her trouble breathing, lethargy, decreased appetite, and pain.
Senβs veterinarian believes she was born with the hernia and that the hernia may have triggered acute pancreatitis. Sen is being treated with pain medication, fluids, and a change in diet. She is currently stable; however, her condition could deteriorate at any time without surgery. Surgery is very invasive and expensive.
Senβs mom said, βShe is a very special kitty. We have a unique connection and deep love for each other. The moment I saw her online, I felt that she was my cat, and I needed to go get her. When I first held her, she curled up in my arms, and the employee helping me commented how sheβs never acted that way with a stranger before.β
Sen means the world to her mom; it breaks her heart to see Sen sick. Her mom cannot afford Senβs expensive surgery; there's not much left to live on after paying all of her bills.
