Handsome boy Moo-Moo, the Staten Island kitty, has a golf ball-sized lump on his belly. His mom was able to get him examined immediately by his veterinarian. Moo-Moo was prescribed antibiotics, but the lump must be surgically removed.
Moo-Moo had a check-up on Wednesday, and the lump has reduced in size significantly; however, his veterinarian needs to remove the mass and send it to a laboratory for testing. The surgery will cost between $2,600.00 - 3,200.00, and his mom cannot afford it. She applied for care credit but was denied due to her low-income status.
Moo-Moo was a stray kitten; Moo-Moo and his feral mom were rescued from the streets and have a safe and loving home. Moo-Mooβs mom said, βMoo-Moo has always been healthy and a ball of energy; his tail is always up!β One of Moo-Mooβs favorite activities is spending supervised time in the backyard, watching mom work in the garden.
