Story
Mangoβs mom noticed that Mango had a lump on the right side of her chest and she was breathing more heavily than usual. She took Mango to the veterinary clinic to get her checked out and x-rays revealed that Mango has a diaphragmatic hernia; two of her ribs are separated, her intestines have been pushed up into her rib cage, and she has only lung function on the left side. Her veterinarian suspects Mango was hit by a car or kicked extremely hard while living on the streets.
Mango is lucky that she found a loving home. Her forever mom was taking a walk and Mango came running up to her out of nowhere crying for attention, followed by her friend Dahlia. Her mom was going to take the two kitties to a shelter, but she was worried about what would happen to them, so she decided to keep them and give them a loving home. If Mango had not been rescued, she would have perished.
Mangoβs mom loves Mango and her Dahlia so dearly, however she has recently fallen on hard times and cannot afford Mangoβs life-saving surgery. Without surgery, Mango will not live a full and healthy kitty cat life.
Please, can you help sweet Mango?
