Sweet little Lilly was walking along a trail when she was viciously attacked by three stray dogs. She sustained multiple puncture wounds on her neck, head, and back. Although her mom has been cleaning the wounds, they have become infected, and it is apparent that Lilly needs veterinary intervention.
Lillyโs momโs friend who was walking Lilly suffered a severe injury to his arm trying to break up the fight! Lilly's injuries are quite profound her mom took her to a local veterinary clinic for an exam and they gave her an estimate of $639.48 for x-rays, laceration repair, medications, and hospitalization.
However, Lillyโs mom can not afford it; she is disabled and receives a small monthly social security check that barely covers her bills, and due to her low-income status she did not qualify for a loan. Lilly and her furry friend Bubs are so important to their momโs mental, physical, and emotional health. They provide companionship and a sense of routine that are invaluable.
