Story
Hunter Cole is a beloved family member and service animal to a Veteran amputee. Unfortunately, Hunter has developed a Mass Cell tumor on his tail, and his veterinarian recommends amputating the tail to ensure that the cancer does not spread.
Surgery has been estimated between $1890-85 - 1904.35. Hunterβs dad can not afford his boy's surgery cost; he applied for care credit but was denied, and though he receives Social Security disability benefits that cover day-to-day expenses, thereβs nothing left after all his bills are paid.
Hunter and his fur brother make their dad take them to the dog park every day. This daily routine and exercise are crucial for the pups and their dadβs overall health and well-being. The relationship between Hunter and his hooman is unmatched.
His dad said, βHunter Cole has been my service dog for seven years. I am a right-leg amputee, and he gives me mobility and balance. When we go out, my disability keeps me from working, and heβs been by my side constantly since Iβve lost my leg.β
Hunter is a cherished companion and a vital part of his father's daily life. As a service dog, he provides mobility and balance to his disabled dad. Without Hunter, his father would face significant challenges in maintaining his independence and quality of life. Please give Hunter Cole a fighting chance and ensure he continues his most crucial role in life.
