URGENT! Zeus needs help immediately, the sweet boy has a broken femur bone on his front right leg. Zeus is an adventurous kitty who likes to climb up high things and explore. Somehow he jumped down from a tall dresser and landed awkwardly and broke his leg. 

 

His mom said, β€œZeus is an amazing kitty and he is very important to us, he is my emotional support pet and without Zeus we would be lost without him. We have tried everything possible to help him get his surgery. Zeus needs a metal plate to fix his bone. He’s our family and we love him dearly. It breaks our heart that we can’t get his surgery done fast enough because of the vet payment.” 

 

Zeus’s mom is a single mother who is doing the best she can, however times are hard and she barely makes ends meet living on social security. Zeus’s leg has been broken for 4 days, his mom has been frantically applying to other charities for help but has had no luck and then she found For The Love Of Alex. The surgery has been estimated to be over $2,300.00.

Good news for Zeus 😻

Zeus had jumped and landed awkwardly and needed surgery ASAP to repair his broken front leg. A plate and screws were put in to hold the bone in place and his leg is healing well. Zeus is putting more weight on the leg, his hair has grown back, and he has a six week check-up today!

Because of your generosity and kindness, Zeus had his surgery to repair his broken leg. Surgery went great, the veterinarian orthopedic surgeon put in a plate and screws to hold Zeus's bone in place and he was able to go home the next day with pain medications and a light sedative. Zeus has a very long road to recovery and his mom has the challenge of keeping this rambunctious 2-year-old calm and confined until his bone has completely healed. We will keep you updated on Zeus's recovery.
