Story
Willow, the Florida kitty, needs surgery to remove a large bladder stone. Willow has been battling painful urinary tract infections since July and urinating blood. Willow has been treated with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and prescription food; however, the stone has not dissolved and is too big to pass naturally.
This munchkin kitty is only eight years old. Willow has never had any medical issues until now. Surgery has been estimated to be $1,609.00 - $1,891.00. Willowβs mom is disabled and on Social Security income; she barely makes ends meet each month. She applied for help from 10 other nonprofit organizations and never heard back; she also applied for care credit but was denied due to previous medical bills.
Without surgery, the bladder stone could block Willowsβ urethra and lead to urine backing up into her kidneys which could be fatal!
Willow and her furry friend Kit are their mommyβs babies; she has no other family. These sweet girls give her so much love and joy and keep her company. Willowβs mom would be devastated if something happened to her little munchkin kitty.
Please can you help Willow and her mom?
