Story
A tragic accident has left Sissy with a damaged retina that is beyond repair. Despite all efforts to save Sissy’s sight, her Ophthalmologist Veterinary Specialist recommends removing Sissy’s eye.
A few months ago, Sissy had a small growth removed from her belly; however, during the routine procedure, Sissy’s eye was inadvertently punctured by a needle. Sissy’s mom was given the shocking news after the surgery. Her veterinarian has been treating Sissy’s eye to try and save her sight, but it has not healed.
Sissy was referred to an Ophthalmologist Veterinary Specialist Hospital, and they confirmed that Sissy’s sight cannot be saved. Sadly, Sissy’s mom has been left with the cost of the surgery. The surgery has been estimated to be between $700-$1000.00. Sissy’s mom is undergoing cancer treatment; she is retired and living on a meager income; she cannot afford Sissy’s surgery.
Sissy is ten years old; she has many more good years to give her mom love and companionship; please, can you help Sissy and her mom?
