Story
Three-year-old Chippy is not feeling good. This sweet boy has suffered back-to-back urinary tract infections and is severely constipated. His veterinarian recommends further diagnostic testing; however, Chippy’s mom does not have the money.
Chippy and his fur brother were dumped on the street as tiny kittens; they were lucky; a kind animal lover took them in and have been living a good life ever since. Chippy has had three urinary tract infections in just over a month. He has been treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications and seems to get better; however, after a few days, the infection returns.
Chippy’s vet recommends a urine culture, x-rays, and bloodwork to determine the cause of his infections and constipation. A culture will determine the right course of antibiotics to treat his urinary problems. Diagnostic testing, medications, and prescription food has been estimated to be $1200.00. Chippy’s mom is on disability; she has already spent hundreds of dollars trying to get her sweet boy better but cannot afford his diagnostic testing.
Please, can you help sweet Chippy and his mom get to the root of his medical problems, so he can start feeling better?
