Chippy has a diagnosis!
We raised funds, and Chippy had x-rays, bloodwork, and a urine culture. Chippy has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Megacolon, a condition where the colon does not function normally and the muscles of the colonic wall do not contract properly.
He was given an enema for constipation, given subcutaneous fluids, and sent home with medications and high-fiber prescription food to help with constipation.
Chippy’s mom said he is doing well and he really likes his new prescription food.
Thank you to everyone who donated towards Chippy’s medical care; because of you, Chippy can live a happy, healthy life. 😻
