Little Baylor has a massive tumor growing on his chest and neck. The mass has got so big that it affects Baylor’s quality of life.
Baylor’s mom is 74 years old and lives on a small fixed income; she cannot afford his surgery cost.
Baylor was abandoned and neglected; his Forever-Mom found him tied to her back door with a chain; he had food and water. Baylor was in bad shape; his beautiful fur was extremely matted, and his paws were brown from him licking his feet. His new mom took him to the groomers to get the mats shaved, his nails trimmed, and a medicated bath to treat a flea infestation.
After shaving off his matted fur, the groomer discovered the immense growth on Baylor’s chest! Baylor’s mom immediately took him to the veterinary clinic, and they tested the tumor. Luckily, it is not cancerous, but Baylor is very uncomfortable.
Baylor’s veterinarian gave him an allergy shot, and he has improved immensely. Because we have yet to determine what medical care Baylor has received in the past, his veterinarian recommended pre-surgical bloodwork. The estimated cost for surgery and bloodwork is approximately $1,000.00.
Baylor’s mom said she is the sweetest and happiest little pup, and I can believe someone would abandon him. This little guy finally has a loving home and deserves a good life. Please, can you help Baylor get to surgery soon?
