Story
Handsome Achilles was born in a shelter; his mother was feral when she was rescued. Achilles has a deformed back leg, his knee is backward, and as he has grown, it is causing him pain. Achilles' leg needs to be amputated ASAP!
Achilles is only eight months old; he was adopted by a wonderful lady who did not care that he had 3 ½ legs. She wanted to give this tiny tripod furbaby a chance at a long and happy kitty cat life. However, as Achilles grew into a handsome boy, his leg became twisted; the bone is exposed and it’s very painful.
Achilles is currently on pain medications and antibiotics, and he has to wear a cone to prevent him from licking and chewing on his leg. Surgery has been estimated to be $1,582.85 - $1,662.85. Achilles' mom can provide day-to-day necessities for Achilles. However, she is low-income and cannot afford his expensive surgery.
His mom said, “He is a sweet and playful kitten who has never let the missing part of his leg interfere with his lifestyle until now.”
A complete amputation will ensure that Achilles' quality of life will improve drastically.
Please, can you help this handsome furbaby live pain-free?
