T-REX HAD SURGERY AND IS DOING WELL! π¦
T-Rex had been battling a stubborn bladder stone for several months. Despite a prescription diet and medications, T-Rex's stone hadn't dissolved and had grown larger, causing him discomfort and putting him at a higher risk for a urinary blockage if the stone became dislodged.
We fundraised for T-Rex's much-needed surgery and raised enough to cover the cost of his entire surgery. π The surgery went well with no complications, and T-Rex was able to go home the same day. His mom said he was eating well and urinating properly.
The bladder stone was sent to the laboratory to determine what kind it was. This will help assess T-Rex's diet and medications he may need to prevent a reoccurrence. The results can take 7-10 days.
