AHI HAS BEEN FITTED WITH A BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITOR! π½
Last week, Ahi was fitted with a FreeStyle Libre 3 BG monitor that syncs to an app on Ahi's mom's cell phone and supports features such as current glucose, direction glucose is going (trend arrow), and glucose alarms indicating high, low, or signal loss alarms.
This will enable Ahi's BG levels to be monitored throughout the day and give his veterinarian valuable information to help stabilize Ahi's levels more quickly. Ahi was also given an antibiotic injection to help with his dental issues. Ahi will have a recheck in two weeks and the monitor replaced.
