Can you help Peru the therapy cat get the life-saving surgery she deserves?
Peru is a certified therapy cat with Pet Partners, she visits nursing homes and has attended events for the local Human Society as a mascot.
Peru has been diagnosed with Ceruminous Gland Adenocarcinoma in her right ear, a condition that causes large masses to grow in the ear canal, dizziness, tilting of the head, un-coordination and frequent stumbling or falling.
The CTI scan confirmed that the cancer has not yet spread from inside her ear canal. The cancer can be completely removed and she can make a full recovery with a total ear canal ablation.
The surgery is extremely invasive and expensive.
Her mom has already spent $1,500.00 and does not have the funds to pay for the surgery. We believe that this beautiful girl deserves a second chance.
