HEARTBREAKING!

We were too late to help save sweet Ellie. Ellie was scheduled for surgery to remove a huge mammary gland tumor; however, on the day of surgery, an x-ray revealed that her tiny little body was full of cancer. We helped Ellie cross peacefully over the rainbow bridge with her dad by her side.

The tumor had grown rapidly over a very short period of time, and Ellie's dad is absolutely heartbroken. He couldn't afford to take Ellie to have her checked out sooner because he is very low-income and he knew that surgery would be extremely expensive.

Ellie's story is just one of the tragic stories we hear every day. Responsible, loving pet owners who do not have the funds for expensive veterinary surgeries and treatments for their beloved fur babies. That is why we need your help, to prevent this from ever happening to another pet and their family.
