We have an update on little Pickle!

Pickle, the Kentucky kitty, had surgery after an unfortunate accident left her with a broken back leg. Pickle is a little sore post-op and is confined to a small area, so she doesn't overdo it, but her mom said she is eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom by herself.

Due to the severity of the break, a plate and pins were placed to hold the broken bone in place so it would heal properly. The incision area was closed with internal sutures and skin glue, so Pickle has no sutures to remove; however, she will need to wear a cone for 14 days and have a recheck appointment in 6 weeks.

Thank you to everyone who helped little Pickle with her surgery cost. This sweet kitty will live a long and happy kitty life because of your compassion and generosity.
