Donations helped sweet Bella get the medical care she desperately needed! ๐
Bella had an exam and a urinalysis revealed that she had a urinary tract infection, and she was sent home with Clavamox antibiotics.
Due to the weight loss, Bellaโs veterinarian ran a complete blood chemistry panel, including thyroid, heartworm, and tick exposure. The tests came back this week, and Bella tested positive for Lyme disease, and she was diagnosed with Diabetes. Bella will require insulin twice a day and a diabetic prescription food to manage her glucose levels for the rest of her life.
Bella was given a 30-day supply of Doxyclinine to treat Lyme disease and an appetite stimulant. We are helping Bellaโs mom with the cost of the insulin and needles until she gets back on her feet financially.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the cost of Bellaโs medical care. Because of you, this sweet girl got the medical diagnosis she needed, and with the medications and prescription food, she will live a long and happy doggy life!
We will have more updates on Bella soon.
