RIP sweet, beautiful Luna 🌈

Luna passed away under her favorite shade tree on September 3, 2022. Luna had recently started eating better, but sadly, her body was just too tired. Luna was one day shy of her 2nd birthday, it is a tragedy that she was taken so soon.

Luna was so loved, and her family fought so hard to save her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Luna's family during this sorrowful time.

RIP sweet, beautiful Luna

Luna has a long road ahead.

Luna has a long road to recovery.

Luna had lost a lot of weight, she went from 98lb to 57lb in just a few months. Her veterinarian suspected an autoimmune disease where her body is not absorbing protein properly. Luna had invasive surgery to biopsy her intestines and at that time she was spayed. Luna's recovery has been difficult, she is still not eating properly and losing weight, she has very watery stools and her incision area is red and inflamed. Her veterinarian prescribed an anti-nausea medication, an appetite stimulant, probiotics, and a stronger antibiotic. We will know more once the results of her biopsy come back. Please pray for Luna and her family. πŸ™

We will have more updates soon!
