Hawi is doing great; he no longer has blood in his urine; he is using the litter box and he loves his new prescription food! Hawi's mom said, "Aloha and a great big Mahalo (thank you) for all the wonderful people that gave to save Hawi's life and your incredible foundation that matched whatever he needed to save his life.... I am truly humbled…"

Hawi’s mom contacted us on Monday as Hawi was again urinating outside the litter box. He had a recheck examination and an X-ray; the good news is the X-ray showed no new stones had formed. His veterinarian could not obtain a clean urine sample from Hawi, but suspected he has a urinary tract infection…

Hawi had surgery to remove painful bladder stones. He is home and doing well. We fundraised for Hawi's surgery; however; we did not raise the total amount. Hawi's condition was worsening and time was of the essence; luckily we had enough funds in the EMERGENCY FUND to cover the rest of the cost and get Hawi into surgery ASAP…
