LITTLE MATILDA, the Texas pup, has recovered fully from surgery!πΆ
Matilda had a painful tumor on the base of her spine; she also needed a dental cleaning because her teeth were in bad shape and needed an extraction. Matildaβs mom is 78 years old and lives on a fixed income; she could not afford Matildaβs surgery cost.
Matilda's mom reached out to us for help. Our donor, Angles helped with Matilda's surgery cost; she had surgery last month. The surgery went well, and the tumor was tested in a laboratory. Unfortunately, the biopsy showed that the tumor was a mast cell tumor. Mast cell tumors (MCTs) are one of the most common types of skin cancers in dogs, but this does not necessarily mean that Matilda's tumor has metastasized. Matlida is being monitored closely by her veterinarian.
Thank you to everyone for helping Matilda and her mom. You are true Angels π
