Melee has fully recovered! 😻

Melee had surgery two weeks ago to remove Calcium oxalate stones that irritated her urinary tract, causing chronic urinary tract infections and bleeding. Melee had passed two smaller stones naturally however; the two larger stones did not dissolve with a urinary diet.

The stones were removed via Cystotomy, and her incision area was closed with laser therapy. A few days post-op Melee was still urinating blood, but once she finished her antibiotics it resolved. Melee’s had a post-op check-up and has been given a clean bill of health by her veterinary surgeon.

Because of the generosity of our donors, this beautiful girl will live a happy, kitty life that is pain-free!
