Max was in dire straits; he had been severely injured. His mom rushed him to the veterinary emergency hospital. X-rays revealed his jaw was fractured in two places. Max urgently needed surgery; however, his mom is low-income and did not have $2,000.00 for her sweet boy's life-saving surgery.
Max's mom desperately searched for an organization to help. Max had been injured for three days; he couldn't eat and had to be fed with a syringe of soupy canned cat food and baby food. Luckily for Max, his mom found you! Within just a few hours of hearing Max's story, animal lovers like you generously donated to help and covered the entire cost of his emergency surgery!
Max's surgery went well. A wire was placed in his jaw to hold the fractured bone. Max is now home recovering; his tongue is still very swollen but looks adorable with it sticking out. Max will continue with soft food and is on pain medication and antibiotics. We will have more updates soon!
